It’s not every day a person runs an establishment for 33 years! One who did with exemplary grace, unique to Lord Fletcher’s Old Lake Lodge, is Alan Bell.
Mr. Bell was a fixture at Lord Fletcher’s from July 1970 until October 2003. For more than 33 years he served as Mattre D’, Manager, General Manager and President. Many recognize and fondly remember his warm smile and endearing English accent.
On March 20, 2017, Mayor Rockvam and the City Council of the City of Spring Park proclaimed, March 29 to be “Alan W. Bell Day.” In honor of Alan, and as a throwback to the 70’s, Lord Fletcher’s will be serving $2.90 glasses of Chardonnay establishment-wide! Join us as we raise a glass, toast and celebrate Alan!
